Role:

As a ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for contributing towards the success of implementing, enhancing, and maintaining the ServiceNow application suite. Our vision of the ideal candidate is someone who has two to three years of demonstrated ServiceNow development experience, along with a passion for leading and collaborating with internal and external teams to create exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and development on ServiceNow, with a focus on implementing ITIL processes
  • Responsible for troubleshooting problems as reported by users
  • Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment
  • Communicates effectively with management and other members of the project
  • Mid-Server Configuration (to facilitate REST calls); CMDB configuration and integration
  • Creation of Web Service for data integration
  • Experience with release/version upgrades including scheduling cloning and migration of data from instances with ServiceNow
  • End-to-End Service Catalog development and complex workflows
  • Applies innovative technical solutions to business and the application processes
  • Defines and documents procedures for processes and workflows
  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, related field, or equivalent education/work experience
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in ServiceNow including development, configuration, integration, and implementation with an advanced knowledge of the platform
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist Certification, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Certification, and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification are a plus
  • Hands on experience with implementations and/or migrations to the ServiceNow platform
  • Proficient in JavaScript, Java, and HTML
  • Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP
  • Proven track record of accurate task breakdown/estimation, unit testing, and delivering on time and in scope.
  • Field of interest/background in Cyber Security is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism is a strong asset

Conditions of Employment:  

  • Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance – Must hold a minimum Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain.
