Role:

As a ServiceNow Architect you will be responsible for contributing towards the success of implementing, enhancing, and maintaining the ServiceNow application suite. Our vision of the ideal candidate is someone who has over three years of demonstrated ServiceNow Technical experience, along with a passion for leading and collaborating with internal and external teams to create exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and lead ServiceNow solution architecture
  • Coordinate with the ipss Inc. Engagement Manager or Customer to understand business requirements and rationale behind changes to existing functionality as well as new functionality to be deployed
  • Provide ServiceNow development assistance to customers including, but not limited to, form configuration, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, custom scripting and third-party software integrations
  • Answer technical and application configuration questions
  • Configure and customize new applications and modules
  • Implement new functionality for customers while using ServiceNow best practices
  • Assist in troubleshooting ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and release management
  • Provide analysis of problems and possible solutions
  • Produce detailed documentation on all work completed
  • Lead technical implementation teams including code review for less experienced consultants
  • Conduct technical training and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Research systems and/or programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions

Ideally you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience implementing, configuring and customizing ServiceNow
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with common web technologies and networking (e.g. XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of ITIL methodologies
  • Working experience with ITSM processes and tools
  • Directory service integration experience (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.)
  • ServiceNow Fundamentals Certification required
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist in at least one application preferred
  • Field of interest/background in Cyber Security is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism is a strong asset

Conditions of Employment:

  • Canadian Federal Government Secret Security Clearance – Must hold a minimum Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain.
